Douglas has spent many years in very senior management and credit roles in the US and Swiss banking industry, having been a Vice President at Bank of America and a senior director at UBS. More recently, Douglas has run both a successful corporate and trade finance business and now specialises in cutting-edge innovative energy projects, including geothermal and renewable power activities. Douglas is highly respected in this sector and will bring to CityOne Securities a considerable depth of knowledge and experience of international finance. 

John Newlands [52], CEO. MA (Oxon). US bank-trained, John spent 20 years of his career at E D & F Man Ltd, the global commodity trading and broking group. During that time he occupied a number of senior financial and risk management roles in Brazil, Berlin and Belgium before making a transition to more commercial positions. Since leaving the Man Group, John successfully managed two trading and service companies before moving into the corporate finance arena in 2000, engaged variously in origination and general management before inspirationally leading equity sales teams. John is multilingual and has an extensive contact base.
